Department of Oncology
Our department has more than 110 employees, including eleven specialist physicians and seven physicians in training positions.
The department has modern dose planning and treatment equipment with three linear accelerators.
We have extensive experience in brachytherapy. We have one device for HDR (prostate cancer) and two machines for PDR (head and neck cancer, breast cancer, and anal cancer).
We have an out-patient service for chemotherapy and a ward for 20 patients.

Our results from postoperative brachytherapy treatment of breast cancer are already published.
Small cancers in the prostate gland have been treated with brachytherapy alone since 2007, with excellent results so far.
